Travelers Background

Ricky Jones has forty years of property casualty insurance experience and is currently responsible for Enterprise Distribution & Agency Experience. Prior positions include Claim Vice President Engagement Strategies; New Jersey Claim Center Vice President for Travelers and Field Vice President for Travelers.

Affiliations

Ricky serves on the Executive and National Boards of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA). He holds the role on the NAAIA Executive Board as Vice Chair. He is active with Habitat for Humanity of Long Island, Inc, as well as being a member of the Morris Habitat for Humanity Leadership Council where he serves as the past chair. Ricky is a Travelers representative on the Big I Diversity Council. He also is the Travelers representative acting as the liaison with the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA). He is a member of the College of Business Advisory Board for Delaware State University.

Over his career Ricky has been responsible for driving transformational initiatives with a commitment to talent development and organizational effectiveness.

Education

Ricky has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Illinois State University.  He holds a Senior Claim Law Association designation for the American Education Institute.
